DEBAJ has been awarded the Electrical & Mechanical erection contract of Aluminimum Smelter Project of Qatalum from FATA S.p.A. DEBAJ has been awarded two packages of contract for the installation of Mechanical and Utility Distribution package for Anode Baking Plant and Cast House by FATA EPC.
DEBAJ work scope includes :
Mechanical Equipment Installation package of Anode Baking Plant & Cast House consist of:
 Installation of conveyor system with turn table, elevators etc.
Installation of Anode slot cutting machines
Installation of direct cooling casting machine
Installation of Batch Homogenising facility and Continuous homogenizing facility
Installation of Furnace launder systems
Installation of Dross Press facility
Installation of Metal fluxing stations, mould shop equipments
Installation of MCCs, PLCs, Remote I/O Panels and other Electrical and instrument work for
equipment installations.
Testing, site storage and handling, commissioning supports
Utility Distribution Installation Package – Anode Baking Plant & Cast House consist of:
Supply, fabrication, installation, site testing and commissioning supports of Utility services like Piped
utilities of potable water, cooling water, compressed air, fuel gas, argon gas, casting oil, mixed process
gas, sea water supply & return, safety shower
Installation of 33 kV transformers
Supply, termination and testing of 33 kV power, control and earthing cables
Supply and installation of UPS distribution boards
Installation of Electrical & Instrument utilities and associated cabling etc.
